Modernism Week is more than two months away and many events are already sold out. That's a sure sign of the momentum and popularity the event has created since its inception in 2006.
Good thing a plethora of new events including fashion, food and cocktail soirees were added Tuesday to broaden the selection.
Modernism Week - which celebrates all things midcentury modern from architecture and design to art and culture - runs for 11 days from Feb. 11-21.
A new location for CAMP, a home base of sorts which hosts many events, has also been announced. It moves to The Alley, 333 S. Palm Canyon Dr., the former 1957 J.W. Robinson Department Store designed by Pereira & Luckman. The home goods store will close in late January after 40 years.
